Comic and writer Alex Barnett is the White, Jewish husband of a Black woman (who converted to Judaism) and the father of a 6-year-old, Biracial son. Join him and his guests each episode as they discuss the issues that confront multiracial people and multiracial families (including the dynamics between members of the same family who are of different races).

Within the Multiracial Community, Alex is active as a performer and advocate.  Alex was a featured performer at the 2012 New Orleans Loving Festival, the 2015 Mixed-Remixed Festival in Los Angeles, and the 2016 Blend Conference at Cornell University.

Alex is the co-founder of Multiracial Media (http://multiracialmedia.com/) a website that showcases the voices of the Multiracial Community.

Alex also is the co-creator of the comic strip, The Bronze Panther, about a four-year-old, biracial superhero.

Alex has performed at clubs, colleges and venues throughout the country.  He's appeared on the Katie Couric Show, been featured on Sirius/XM Radio’s “Raw Dog Comedy,” and NBC’s EVB Live, and in VH1.com, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and CNN.com.

Ep. 84: LaTice was born and raised in the suburbs of South Jersey and has turned the challenges of being black in a white neighborhood into comedy.  Her conversational style makes you feel like you’re in her living room laughing about interracial marriage, being a parent, reality TV, ridiculous commercials and her day-to-day encounters. LaTice will pull you right into her world the minute she steps on stage, with her zest for life and positive energy.  She has crowds laughing out loud until she says goodnight.

 LaTice appeared on ABC's The View for their "Hilarious Housewives" how funny are you? She was chosen to perform in NYC's SHE DEVIL comedy festival in October 2015 and returned to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Comedy in September 2015, as one of the 101 comedians around the country to perform at the Tuscany Hotel & Casino. She has been seen on the Dr. Oz show and the Betheny Show.

She has opened for some of comedy’s top headliners including Tony Rock, Jessica Kirson, and Dan Adhoot,  just to name a few.

LaTice was accepted into the The Brokerage Comedy Club's March Madness and made it to the Elite 8, from the original 64 comedians.  She won a spot into the Stand up 360 Comedy Festival in New York, April 2012. Competed in the World Series of Comedy in Raleigh NC, on April 19th 2012, after being selected from hundreds of submissions.  LaTice was picked as one of the 101 Comedians to compete in the MAIN EVENT for The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas 2012! The competition took place at the Tuscany Hotel & Casino.

LaTice has performed in comedy clubs all along the East Coast and is making her way out west.
